Ranbir Kapoor is currently basking under the success of his recently released film Animal. The action drama has been breaking all records and creating history at the box office. Fans are loving the performance of the actor and also Bobby Deol. Well, there is a report saying that Ranbir has reduced his fee for this film by 50 percent to have a share in profits. Pinkvilla has earlier exclusively reported that Ranbir Kapoor is charging an upfront fee of Rs 30 – 35 crores for Animal.

“He has reinvested a portion of his reduced fee into enhancing the production quality of the gangster drama. Additionally, he will share in the film’s profits. Ranbir Kapoor, valued at Rs 70 crores per film in the current market, actively engages in both the creative and logistical aspects of his movie projects. In a gesture of support for Animal’s producers, Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, RK significantly reduced his acting fees by more than 50 percent,” the report further says.

As per a report by Financial Express, in a notable difference, Bobby Deol, portraying the presumed antagonist in the movie, received a relatively modest amount of Rs. 4-5 crore. Other cast members, such as Rashmika Mandanna received a sum of Rs. 4 crore, and Anil Kapoor received Rs. 2 crore.

Bobby Deol was recently spotted crying after the success party of Animal. He was surrounded by his team who tried to comfort him. He was then seen wiping his tears off with a tissue and heading into his car. Bobby also stopped to interact with the media and said, “Thank you so much. God has been really kind Itna pyaar mil raha hai iss film ke liye, mujhe lagta hai main sapna dekh raha hoon (I’m getting so much love for this film, it feels like a dream).”

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer has done recorded an impressive day 2 collection as well. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial witnessed a rise on day 2, pushing the film to collect Rs 100 crores. As per the box office trading platform Sacnilk, Animal collected Rs 66 crores on its Day 2. It has been reported that Animal witnessed a big jump in occupancy in Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Pune and Hyderabad. The Telugu version also drew audiences in Hyderabad. It is likely that Animal could keep this momentum going on Sunday as well.
