Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has been making headlines ever since videos of her wedding to long-time partner and entrepreneur Salim Karim went viral on social media earlier this week. Mahira, also known for her role in the Bollywood movie Raees alongside Shah Rukh Khan, has been regularly treating fans to pictures from her wedding and pre-wedding festivities. The actress did nothing different today. Recently, Mahira Khan shared new dreamy pictures from her Mehendi ceremony in her latest Instagram post.

On Monday, Mahira Khan delighted her followers by posting a series of unseen captivating wedding photos of herself. The actress offered a glimpse into her mehendi ceremony, which took place on September 29 this year. In the pictures, Mahira Khan can be seen exuding sheer royalty, wearing a radiant smile as she made her way to the ceremony. For her Mehendi celebration, the newlywed bride looked stunning in a purple traditional outfit adorned with intricate pearl embroidery. She complemented her outfit with a beautiful laced red dupatta and matching accessories.

Accompanying the pictures, Mahira Khan wrote in the caption, “Right before we were heading down. Asim put a whole string of motias on my arm…just because…he is Asim and I’m his Mahiru…forever InshAllah. Mehndi (with a purple heart emoticon) 29.09.23.”

As soon as the post surfaced on the internet, the actress’s fans and industry friends swamped the comment section with fire and red heart emoticons. The social media users showered love and admiration on the newlywed bride, Mahira Khan. Many praised the actress for her simplicity and beauty.

Just a day ago, Mahira Khan opened up about how her “childhood friends, work friends, and cousins” insisted on organising a dance program to ensure everyone had a gala time. The actress shared a series of pictures of herself with her “insanely amazing humans whom she calls her family”. Along with the family members, the snaps also featured Mahira’s close friends. The images radiated pure happiness and love, enough to warm anyone’s heart. Additionally, in one of the videos shared, the actress was seen joyfully dancing to Shah Rukh Khan’s song, Maahi Ve from the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Captioning the post, Mahira Khan wrote, “What a good. What a Best So when I told my friends about the wedding… I also laid out a few ‘requests’. This is how they went – Me – Guys please I’m too old for dances, can we not have dances? Friends – No. we have to. M – Ok just one? F – Hell No. M – Ok please no dholkis before Bhurban. We should all just chill. F – talk to the. As time came close they all were over every day…I realised they just wanted to celebrate me and us.”

“My childhood friends, work friends, my cousins… had seen it all with me – held me when I was down and clapped when I succeeded. I had done the same with them. To these insanely amazing humans, I call family. I love you all so freaking much. Alhumdulillah. MashAllah. P.S. My best friend in the whole world surprised me at the Mehndi and I still can’t believe she made it. It’s her birthday today – I love you my insia lotia. Always and forever,” she added.

Mahira Khan was previously wed to Ali Askari, with whom she shares a son named Azlan. Their marriage ended in 2015. However, nearly eight years later, the actress entered into her second marriage with Salim Karim. After being in a relationship for a while, Mahira and Salim tied the knot on October 1 at the Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Work-wise, Salim Karim is a well-known figure in the business world, serving as the CEO of Simpaisa, showcasing his multifaceted entrepreneurial talents. On the other hand, Mahira Khan is all set to appear in the Netflix series Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo alongside Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed.
