The Durga Puja festival has begun with full fervour, and individuals in various parts of the country are ready to seek blessings from the goddess. Many celebrities in Mumbai, year after year, have celebrated the festival in grand style in various parts of the city. Among them, the singer Kumar Sanu also organises an elaborate Durga Puja pandal to welcome the goddess, and some of the popular names from the industry are seen visiting the venue. Recently, Anupam Kher paid a visit to the MBCA Durgotsav with his mother. The actor also met Kumar Sanu, and they posed together in front of the idol.

Anupam Kher assisted his mother, Dulari Kher, at the Durgotsav organised by Kumar Sanu. The old lady was seen touching the feet of the huge Durga idol. In subsequent pictures, Anupam Kher and Kumar Sanu can also be seen standing with Dulari Kher. While the old lady was seen wearing a blue saree, Anupam Kher and Kumar Sanu were seen in white and golden kurtas. Kumar Sanu’s Durga Puja was inaugurated on October 18 by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, and the legendary actor Dharmendra. The pandal is located in the MBCA Durga Puja Ground in Veer Savarkar Garden.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher has always been a dotting son. He often shares pictures with his mother and writes about the impact she has had on his life. This year, on her birthday, the actor shared some old pictures with his mother. While some pictures were from his childhood, one snap showed Anupam and his brother laying their heads on their mother’s lap. In one image. Anupam could be seen standing with his mother, both of them wearing Kashmiri hats. There were some pictures of the family as well. In the caption, he wished for his mother and prayed for a healthy life for her. He expressed how a mother’s love does not change, and she will always try to make their children laugh.

The actor is currently seen in Vamsee’s period action-thriller Tiger Nageswara Rao, which released this week. Anupam Kher plays an important role as an IB officer in the film. Talking about the film, the actor told Zee News, “When I heard the story and offered the film, I was excited to be a part of this unique story with Vamsee. With Ravi Teja portraying India’s biggest thief, Tiger Nageswara Rao, I am sure audiences will love the film. Working with Abhishek and Vamse was special and their vision for the film is spectacular.
