Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are gearing up for their next release Fighter. The much-anticipated film has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. Well, the makers have opened the advance booking and it has been creating history. The film has already set the cash registers ringing with an impressive 80,000 advance ticket sales.
The Indian Express quoted industry tracker Sacnilk, “Fighter has already recorded a remarkable 86,516 advance bookings for day one, amassing Rs 2.84 crore. The breakdown includes 33,624 tickets for the 2D Hindi version, 46,790 tickets for the 3D version, 4,881 tickets for IMAX 3D action, and 1,221 tickets for the immersive 4DX 3D experience.”
Noteworthy advance ticket sales have been reported, such as Rs 67.39 lakh in Delhi, Rs 75.02 lakh in Maharashtra, and Rs 40.73 lakh in Telangana. Karnataka has contributed Rs 43.54 lakh to the film’s advance bookings.
On Sunday, a report on Sacnilk.com mentioned that the film has minted nearly Rs 2 crore in advance bookings.
Since it was first announced that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan would be collaborating on an action film called Fighter, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the release of the film. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone play Airforce Officers in Siddharth Anand’s aerial action film. This will be Hrithik and Deepika’s first collaboration. They will star as Air Force officers Patty and Minni, taking on missions and performing high-octane stunts. The film promises to bring a power-packed action spectacle that has never been seen before on the big screen. The trailer features Top Gun-style action with Deepika and Hrithik in their aircrafts. It starts with Anil Kapoor assembling a skilled team of IAF officers to avenge India after “the deadliest ever attack”. He brings together the “top aviators” to show the terrorists responsible for the attack that Indians will not sit quietly by.
