A Sneak Peek Into Sonam Kapoor, Rhea's 'Sunny, Carefree' Diwali Celebrations In Goa

Away from the city hustle, Rhea Kapoor enjoyed “carefree” Diwali celebration in Goa with her family. Despite being away from the usual traditional festivities, the family made sure to indulge in a lavish feast. Rhea celebrated the festival with her husband Karan Boolani, sister Sonam Kapoor, brother-in-law Anand Ahuja, and their little one, baby Vayu. Rhea Kapoor did not forget to treat her followers with pictures from their intimate celebrations.

In a recent Instagram post, Rhea Kapoor shared pictures capturing the joy of their family Diwali celebration in Goa. The family of four posed together, with the men dressed in casual ethnic wear, and Rhea and Sonam donning elegant outfits by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Rhea captioned the post with, “Very happy, sunny, fabulous, carefree Goa Diwali from us to you! Love Rhea, Karan, Sonam and Anand.” The group gorged on enormous savoury plates, which included piles of chaklis, nimki, sev, and other snacks, along with sweets, which are a must for Diwali.

Fans flooded the comment section, extending Diwali wishes to the Kapoor sisters and their husbands as soon as Rhea Kapoor uploaded the post.

On the work front, Rhea Kapoor recently produced the film Thank You For Coming. The film featured Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, and others. She praised their distinct and special characters, emphasizing their comedic contributions to the film.

While Rhea has been tight-lipped about her upcoming projects, the producer stated that a sequel to the 2018 film Veere Di Wedding is on the cards. She shared, “I’m working on Veere Di Wedding 2. It will be very different, it’s not going to be what anybody expects. I didn’t want to do it until I knew that it would be better than the first one and I knew that it was going to be hard because Veere Di Wedding is my everything.”

Currently, Rhea Kapoor is engrossed in filming The Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The film, set in the aviation sector, revolves around three women striving to succeed in life.
