When Salman Khan Told Shah Rukh Khan 'Meri Shaadi Ho Chuki Hai': 'I'm Fed Up of Telling This...'
At an event, Salman Khan jokingly revealed his 'secret marriage,' leaving Shah Rukh Khan and the entire audience in fits of laughter.

Salman Khan, Bollywood’s perennial bachelor, has long been the subject of endless speculation regarding his love life and marriage plans. Over the years, fans and media alike have eagerly awaited the day when the Dabangg actor would announce that he had finally tied the knot. A few years ago, at the Star Screen Awards, this anticipation reached a fever pitch when Salman made a shocking revelation that left everyone, including Shah Rukh Khan, stunned.

During the event, Shah Rukh Khan, who was hosting the show, couldn’t resist asking Salman the question on everyone’s mind: “When are you getting married?” Salman, known for his wit and humour, casually dropped a bombshell. “Secret ye hai ki meri shaadi ho chuki hai,” he said, meaning, “The secret is that I have already gotten married.”

The statement left Shah Rukh, along with the star-studded audience that included Alia Bhatt, Zareen Khan, Daisy Shah, and Rekha, in complete disbelief. Shah Rukh, visibly taken aback, asked for confirmation, “What? Teri shaadi ho chuki hai? (You’re already married?)” Salman, maintaining a straight face, responded, “Those who keep bothering me, asking about my marriage plans. I am fed up of telling this lie – 18 November, 18 November.”

The atmosphere was electric as the audience tried to grasp Salman’s words. Shah Rukh, not one to let it go, pressed further, “Where did you get married?” To this, Salman delivered the punchline, “Sapno mein (In my dreams).” The entire auditorium erupted in laughter.

Continuing the playful banter, SRK asked, “Whom did you marry in your dreams?” Salman, with his signature deadpan delivery, explained, “Whenever the girl enters my dream, I feel nervous and I wake up. So, I have never seen the girl.”

Salman’s humorous approach to marriage rumours has always been a hit with his fans. Despite the jokes, the superstar has expressed his genuine desire to become a father. In an interview with Aap Ki Adalat, Salman shared that while marriage isn’t his priority, he does want children. However, he pointed out that Indian laws make this difficult. “I am very fond of children. But when kids come, their mother also comes… But my kid’s real mother will also be my wife,” he stated.

For now, Salman Khan continues to enjoy his bachelor status, keeping both his fans and the media guessing with his playful antics.
