Harvey Weinstein is set to surrender himself to New York Police soon, and while the women are celebrating the move as he gets one step closer to justice, actor Gwyneth Paltrow has brought to light a new revelation. In a radio interview with Howard Stern, Paltrow revealed that Brad Pitt once threatened to kill Weinstein when the two actors were dating in the 90s.

Paltrow revealed that Weinstein asked her for a massage while the two were alone in a hotel room and she immediately told her then-boyfriend Pitt about the inappropriate advancements. The actor then confronted the producer when the three attended the opening of Hamlet on Broadway.

"It was the equivalent of throwing him against the wall,” she said in the interview. Allegedly, Pitt told Weinstein that he'll kill him if he ever made her feel uncomfortable again.

After the incident, the producer nearly screamed at her but she felt fantastic about Pitt confronting the producer. “It was so fantastic. What he did was he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet. He’s the best.” she added.

Weinstein has been accused of sexual harassment, assault, and inappropriate behaviour by more than 50 women, all of which he has denied. Actresses including Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie has said that they were sexually harassed by the producer. A few, including Asia Argento and Rose McGowan, said they were raped.

"We are one step closer to justice," McGowan was quoted as saying by Variety. "May this give hope to all victims and survivors everywhere."

The Manhattan district attorney’s office is expected to charge Weinstein Friday regarding a case involving allegations of forced oral sex from Lucia Evans.
