Vidya Balan, In A Voluminous Black Gown, Serves Gothic Glam With An Edge

Vidya Balan turned heads at the Elle India Beauty Awards 2024. The actress walked the red carpet dressed in an elegant black dress. Known for stealing hearts in both Western and Indian outfits, Vidya chose a Princess-esque gown for the evening. She was seen in a full black dress with voluminous half-length sleeves. The outfit featured a one-shoulder design, a cinched waist, an asymmetric hem, a pleated flowy skirt and a train on the back. She completed her look with black pumps, golden hoops, a sleek bun, and minimal makeup.

On the red carpet, Vidya also got into a fun chit-chat with the media. As she posed for the cameras, she briefly got into her Manjulika mode and jokingly asked the paparazzi to keep silent. It is worth mentioning that the Bollywood diva was honoured with the ELLE Beyond Beauty Award at the event.

Adding more to the star power, several other celebrities like Kriti Sanon, Kajol, Disha Patani, Sunny Leone, Sharvari Wagh, Sara Tendulkar, and Neha Sharma also marked their attendance at the event.

On the work front, Vidya Balan is all set to bring the eerie vibes of Manjulika in the upcoming Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel. The actress previously worked in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa opposite Akshay Kumar and Shiney Anuja.

The first official trailer for the film was unveiled on Wednesday, October 9. It dived deeper into the mystery of Rakhtghat and Manjulika. Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba is portrayed as the town’s ruler and he ends up in a confrontation with two Manjulikas, played by Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third instalment in the beloved horror franchise that began in 2007 with the Akshay Kumar starrer. Each film has built upon its predecessor’s success with new plots and characters. Speaking of the film’s casting, while Kartik Aaryan takes on the lead role alongside Vidya, Madhuri, and Triptii Dimri, others like Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Rajesh Sharma play supporting roles in the movie.

The film is scheduled to release on November 1.
