Trisha Krishnan is one of the leading names in South cinema, who has appeared in countless blockbusters. Currently, the actress is gaining headlines for a recent tweet she made, which is believed to be an indirect reply to singer Suchitra.

Taking to her official X handle, Trisha shared a series of images in gorgeous traditional wear, channelling her inner goddess. But it is not the actress’s beautiful photoshoot that is the topic of discussion in the media. It is the tweet she shared with the images, which is being discussed as a retort to singer Suchitra’s controversial words. In the tweet, she wrote, “If there’s anything that you should stop wearing, it’s the weight of other people’s opinions.”

The tweet is being speculated to be an indirect reply to controversial singer Suchitra’s remarks regarding Trisha’s and Vijay’s rumoured relationship. In a recent interview, the playback singer publicly told actor Vijay to spend less time with Trisha and be with his wife Sangeetha. Speaking further, Suchitra stated that Vijay had “isolated” himself from his family.

It is being claimed that Suchitra’s words were a reaction to Trisha’s recent birthday post for Vijay. On her X account, Trisha wished the actor with a mirror selfie of the two. She tweeted, “The calm to a storm, The storm to a calm! To many more milestones ahead.”

In the past, singer Suchitra made headlines for controversial and reckless statements about her contemporaries.
