The trailer for the actor Sivakarthikeyan-backed Kottukkaali, an upcoming Tamil movie, has been unveiled by the makers. The film stars names like Soori and Anna Ben, revolving around the themes of exorcism, as shown in the trailer.
The 2-minute and 8-second trailer was shared on the official YouTube channel of Sivakarthikeyan Productions. It starts with a woman staring uninterruptedly towards a rooster, a sight which becomes chilling as the seconds pass by. The camera then pans to actor Soori’s character, driving a motorcycle and when he is stopped by the security, he reveals he has to go to Palamedu for the exorcism of a family member.
From then on, the scenes follow the girl, the man and others, seemingly travelling to the mentioned place, together. In between those scenes, we see shots of ritualistic situations and more roosters. Finally, the scene pans to the travelling family, this time engaged in chaos. It seems like the possessed woman is having an attack, as the others try to get ahold of her. All of it happens in the middle of a bridge. The clip has been viewed over 2.8 million times on the platform, so far. It was released on August 13.

It is produced by Sivakarthikeyan, under the banner of Sivakarthikeyan production. The cinematography is done by B Sakthivel and the editor is Ganesh Siva. The film is releasing on August 23.
