As Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol continue to shoot for their upcoming film, Alpha, Sharvari Wagh has also joined the schedule. Sharvari dropped a photo from the film’s set today, July 30, and said that she is excited to embark on this journey, which he has manifested.
Taking to Instagram, the actress wrote, “It doesn’t get bigger than this! Super stoked to start my #Alpha journey today! Trust me… I have manifested this moment super prepped but can feel the butterflies in my tummy… Thank you Adi sir for your faith & @shivrawail for your belief in me! Letssss gooooo!! #YRFSpyUniverse”

The film’s shoot is underway with full fervour. As reported by IANS, Alia Bhatt and the film’s antagonist, Bobby Deol were recently in Mumbai where they shot on a heavily guarded set in Film City. “It is a ferocious action sequence. You can call it brutal. It is a no-holds-barred face-to-face action sequence between Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. There will be blood,” a source cited by the news agency claimed.
“The shoot location is impregnable. This is one of the most important scenes of the film, and even a fly cannot enter this set. I think they have at least 100 guards manning the location and covering all vantage points,” the insider added.
The title of Alia Bhatt’s Spy Universe movie – Alpha – was announced earlier this month when the actress took to her Instagram handle and dropped a video in which she announced that the shooting for the much-awaited movie has finally begun.
The clip showed ‘Alpha’ written on it as Alia’s voiceover said, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehle akshar aur hamare program ka motto. Sabse pehle, sabse tez, sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har shahar mein ek jungle hai aur har jungle mein raaj karega ek Alpha (The first alphabet of the Greek language and our motto – first, fastest and courageous. If you see, every city is a jungle and every jungle is ruled by an Alpha)”.
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s standalone YRF Spy Universe film was confirmed earlier this year when Yash Raj Films’ CEO Akshaye Widhani said, “As one of the most prized IPs, we take a lot of pride in it. So there’s a lot of stuff that’s going to come in the spy universe. We’re going to see more and more films getting made under it. But, of course, not going to share everything here. We will talk about it at a more opportune time. For now, I can say that Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film.”
Over the years, YRF has established its Spy Universe in the film industry. Before Alia and Sharvari, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have also been a part of YRF Spy Universe films. While Katrina played an ISI agent Zoya in the popular Tiger franchise, Deepika essayed the role of an ISI spy Rubina in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. Kiara Advani also joined Spy Universe recently. She will be seen in Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR-led War 2.
