'Rustom' first look: Akshay Kumar looks impressive, dressed as a navy officer

The first look of Akshay Kumar from his upcoming film 'Rustom' has been revealed and it's fantastic!

Set in the 50s, the film has Kumar dressed as a navy officer with a mustache. Interestingly, this film requires a lot of prosthetics to be used on Kumar. That's not all; to make sure he shines in his new role, costume designer Ameira Punvani's spent three months working on his look.

Written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal, 'Rustom' also stars Esha Gupta and Ileana D'Cruz. The film is inspired from real-life incidents set in the late '50s and is being shot in the Europe. Looks like after 'Airlift' Akshay is gradually changing his genre from action comedy to real life inspired serious drama. 'Rustom' will hit the theaters on 12 August this year.
