Ravi Dubey never shies away from PDA for his wife Sargun Mehta on social media. On Sargun’s 36th birthday on Friday, the actor dropped an Instagram post featuring photos of the duo looking at their ravishing best. The post was accompanied by a heartwarming birthday note for Sargun,
“Happy birthday to my life, my wife, my deity, my everything ….I love you my darling,” Ravi wrote in the captions.
In the images shared with the post, both Ravi and Sargun are dressed in traditional attire.
While the actor is wearing a black sherwani with a contrasting golden and silver waistcoat, Sargun looks straight out of a dream in a golden lehenga set.
Ravi Dubey is completely smitten by his wife Sargun Mehta and his social media timeline is proof of it. The actor’s birthday post for Sargun from last year screamed just love.
Dropping an album that featured their pictures from various occasions, Ravi wrote, “Humesha lagta tha mujhe ki Sargun meri kismet hai…magar Sargun sirf meri kismet nahi, woh sakshaat kismet hi hai…Jis cheez ko haath laga de woh sona ho jaye…jise dekh bhar le uspe rehmat baras jaye, meri hasrat, neymat, shohrat, Barkat sab tumse hai..janamdin mubarak kismet. Talking about her relationship with Ravi, Sargun powered her heart out.
“I felt that he was like those men you read about in books. If I had typed it out on the computer with all the things that I liked, I would have printed it out! He checked every checkbox that I ever had, the actress said.
“But when he proposed to me for marriage, I was a bit taken aback. It was out of the blue, but after some point, there was no second thought about it. It just felt perfect right from the beginning,” added Sargun Mehta.
Ravi Dubey proposed to Sargun Mehta in a dramatic manner in December 2012 during their appearance on Nach Baliye Season 5. Right after their performance, he knelt and popped the question with a solitaire ring.
On December 7, 2013, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony.
