Rajkummar Rao's Wife Patralekhaa Is 'Bothered' By Pregnancy Rumours: 'I Look Bloated In My Belly...'

Rajkummar Rao’s actress wife Patralekhaa has finally reacted to her pregnancy rumours. In a recent interview, the actress admitted that she gets ‘bothered’ whenever reports falsely claim that she and Rajkummar are expecting a baby. Patralekhaa further shared that such rumours also make her hesitate to pose for the paparazzi.

“When I look bloated in my belly, I am pregnant but I am a girl and I have days which are not really happy in life. I look the way I want. Initially, I did get bothered about it and I have also stopped reading the comments. I just see my photos and I go to the next,” she told Gallata India.

“I am like, what is this? They have a problem with what you wear, what you don’t wear or whether your hair is done properly or not. I guess that is what it comes with,” the actress added.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha tied the knot on November 15, 2021. The couple has previously collaborated on the film Citylights, which was well-received by audiences. Later, they even worked together on the web series Bose: Dead/Alive.

In January this year, Rajkummar shared a heartfelt Instagram post for his wife on her 34th birthday and wrote, “Happy birthday my love, the most beautiful and strongest girl Patralekhaa. You are the love and light of my life and always remember you are God’s favourite child. You complete me.”

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is currently enjoying the success of his recently released movie, Stree 2. Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi, the film hit theatres on August 15 and impressed audiences. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 sees Rajkummar and Shraddha reprise their roles from the original. The sequel continues the eerie tale in the town of Chanderi, now haunted by a new terror, Sarkata. The townspeople once again turn to Stree for salvation. The film also features several surprise cameos, including Varun Dhawan as Bhediya, who shares a special song with Shraddha Kapoor.

Stree 2 clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. Despite this, Stree 2 managed to gather audiences’ attention. The film has earned over Rs 250 crore in India as of now.
