A tintype is a photography medium form the mid 1800s. Remember looking at really old photos that almost look like they are sketches rather than photographs? Well that's tintype photography. This outrageously outdated form of photography was brought to life again at the Sundance Film Festival by photographer Victoria Will, as she shot portraits of actors present there with her tintype camera. The overall effect may leave you thinking this is probably a good Photoshop job, but that isn't the case at all. The photographs are shot through an age old camera, and then developed chemically. Here are some of the actors who got their tintype photos clicked:Bob OdenkirkEwan McGregorHugo WeavingJames FrancoJason SegelJack BlackKevin BaconKristen WiigLisa KudrowSlashThis is how the entire process happened.
