Parasite won Best Picture Oscar at the 92nd Academy Awards and the audience encouraged the cast and crew to speak their heart out on stage. Sitting on the front row of the awards show, actors like Tom Hanks and Charlize Theron urged the cast and crew of the South Korean film to extend their speech beyond the stipulated time in a heartwarming moment.
The most interesting fight at the Oscars this year was in the Best Picture category. The Irishman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood were seen as strong contenders early on, as well as war drama 1917. South Korean film Parasite, which has been garnering rave reviews, was considered the dark horse. It won top honours at the ceremony, taking home four awards, including Best Film and Best Director.

Renee Zellweger won Best Actress Award for playing Judy Garland. “Though Judy Garland did not receive this honor in her time, I am certain that this moment is an extension of the celebration of her legacy,” Zellweger said while accepting the Academy Award.

The biggest film awards of the year was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
