Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged last week. The couple, who was dating for two years after Chaitanya separated from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, got engaged in Nagarjuna’s home. While photos from their engagement have gone viral, a new video has surfaced online showing Sobhita from the engagement day. The video, which is the first clip from the engagement ceremony, shows an excited Sobhita getting ready and heading to the engagement venue.
The actress showed off her long braid and engagement saree in the video. She also struck numerous poses on the swing situated at the venue. Naga Chaitanya also joined her for a couple of photos. Watch the video below:

A few photos from the engagement also surfaced online. It the photos, Sobhita was seen getting blessings from Chaitanya’s family.
The engagement took place on Thursday. The intimate ceremony took place at Nagarjuna’s house and was attended only by close family members. Nagarjuna took to X (formerly Twitter) to officially share the happy news. “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! ❤️ 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love ❤️,” he wrote.
The Telugu superstar revealed that Chaitanya was ‘depressed’ after he and Samantha decided to part ways. “Chay has found happiness again. He is very happy. So am I! It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation from Samantha left him very depressed. My boy doesn’t show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again…Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly,” Nagarjuna told Times Now.
