Shahid Kapoor dominated headlines after his “leaked” travel itinerary started doing rounds on the internet. The screenshot of the actor’s precise itinerary including various international destinations for his travel in April and May and his hotel and airline preferences quickly garnered fans’ attention. While many laughed at the situation, some were concerned about the actor’s privacy. Now, reacting to Shahid Kapoor’s travel plans, his close industry friend Kunal Kemmu, with whom he often embarks on bike trips, hilariously expressed surprise at not being informed about this particular journey.
Kunal Kemmu posted a short clip on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Kya Plan Kya Hai?” He sarcastically questioned Shahid Kapoor saying, “I just came across your itinerary..17 din mein 7 countries. Super Plan. Ek baat bata hum log itne saal se bike chala rahe hai idhar ja rahe hai udhar ja rahe hai, tune pucha bhi nahi ek baar (Tell me something, we have been travelling on bike of so many years, why didn’t you ask me once).”
Initially, Kunal jokingly inquired if Shahid planned to travel to seven countries on his bike, only to realise the impracticality of covering such vast distances in just 17 days. Moreover, the leaked itinerary indicated that arrangements at various locations would be managed by a friend. This piqued Kunal’s curiosity, prompting him to ask Shahid about the person. Playfully, Kunal remarked, “Who is this friend who is taking care of the entire trip? Should I ask, or will you tell me?
The viral itinerary unveiled a packed schedule for Shahid Kapoor, starting with flights from Mumbai to Delhi before embarking on international journeys to Tokyo and Sydney. This was followed by a transcontinental voyage to New York, Paris, and Istanbul, before returning to Mumbai via Abu Dhabi. According to the leaked itinerary, Shahid opted for Vistara for domestic flights and selected United Airlines and Japan Airways for his international travels. If the screenshot is to be believed then his accommodation choices included luxurious hotels such as InterContinental, The Doubtless Bay and Six Senses.
On the work front, Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut, Madgaon Express, featuring Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu Sharma and Nora Fatehi was received well by the audience. The film was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, co-starring Kriti Sanon.
