Last night, Kriti Sanon graced an awards ceremony in Mumbai, making a statement in her stylish outfit. The actress dazzled at the ELLE India Beauty Awards 2024 event in an elegant monochrome marble-patterned gown, which enhanced her statuesque figure. While she impressed everyone with her impeccable fashion, Kriti’s humble gesture towards a paparazzo also drew attention.
In a video circulating on social media, just when Kriti was heading inside, the paparazzi at the venue informed her that it was a senior photographer’s birthday. Initially, the actress failed to understand what they were saying. But right when she learned about the photographer’s birthday, Kriti proceeded to wish him while the others cheered and hooted. However, in a hilarious turn of events, someone from the group of photographers said that they were just kidding and it wasn’t his birthday, leaving the actress all confused. She then asked them to confirm if it was his birthday or not. Another paparazzo then said that he was indeed celebrating his birthday.
Every now and then, Kriti converses with the paparazzi. Back in September, when the Mimi actress returned to India after attending the London Fashion Week, she posed an interesting question to the paparazzi on her way out of the Mumbai airport. She was wearing a white T-shirt teamed with cargo pants and sneakers. While she was walking out, Kriti noticed that one of the photographers left his slipper mid-way and gestured to him to wear it. The actress then asked, “Aap log joota kyu nahi pehente ho (why don’t you guys wear shoes)?” To which one of the paps replied, “Baarish chalu hai ma’am (rain is still pouring).”
Meanwhile, Kriti has been having a very busy 2024. From attending the London Fashion Week, IIFA 2024, to a few brand events and award ceremonies, it seems the actress hasn’t had an opportunity to catch a breath. Moreover, she was recently appointed the Global Brand Ambassador for Pepe Jeans, making her the first Indian celebrity to achieve this feat. The brand took to its social media channels to make the announcement.
Speaking of her films, Kriti, who was last seen in Kareena Kapoor and Tabu starrer Crew, is gearing up for the release of Do Patti, co-starring Kajol and Tanvi Azmi. The Shashanka Chaturvedi-helmed murder mystery will stream on Netflix from October 25.
