Kriti Sanon Heads To London With Sister For Her Birthday Bash

Kriti Sanon is taking a well-deserved break from her busy schedule following two successful releases this year. The actress is off to London with her sister Nupur Sanon to celebrate her birthday this weekend. Kriti shared a photo of herself and her sister on her Instagram stories. The photo depicts the Sanon sisters having a great time together as they are en route to London.

In the photo, Kriti was seen in a black leather jacket and a white top, while Nupur donned a white graphic shirt. Both of them looked adorable as they posed for a selfie. The actress accompanied the picture with a caption, “Vacay time. #LondonDiaries.” She will be celebrating her birthday on July 27.

Kriti Sanon worked in two films this year, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, co-directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, starred Kriti alongside Shahid Kapoor. In Crew, she was seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. Kriti is also set to make her production debut with Netflix’s upcoming feature Do Patti. She will also star in the Shashanka Chaturvedi-directed thriller and share screen space with Kajol.

Meanwhile, the actress is also expected to be seen in the biopic of Meena Kumari, under Manish Malhotra’s label. However, as per recent reports, the shoot for the film has been delayed as the makers need more time to develop the script. A source told Mid Day, “The material will be vetted by multiple script doctors before it goes into filming. In a way, the delay might be good for the team. Since it’s a period drama, this allows them ample time for pre-production. Costumes are also a big part when recounting the story of one of Hindi cinema’s finest actors, and their recreation will take time. It will most likely roll in the first half of 2025.”

Earlier, the portal reported that Kriti Sanon has been watching old films and reading interviews with Meena Kumari to prepare for the role. The film, based on the life of Bollywood’s ‘Tragedy Queen,’ would be Kriti Sanon’s first biography. Manish Malhotra, the fashion designer, makes his directorial debut with it.
