'Khiladi' Moves in Africa: Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's Dance Face-off Goes Viral | Watch
Akshay Kumar's fans were elated to see him enjoying a much-needed break. This comes after a challenging phase in his career, where all his recent films have flopped.

Twinkle Khanna recently stirred up a fun debate among fans by posting a lively dance video with her actor-husband, Akshay Kumar. Filmed in Africa, the video captures the couple joyfully dancing alongside a local Tanzanian group, Omahe. They performed their rendition of a traditional dance called Ritunga, integrating the raw energy and rhythm of the music into their movements.

In her social media post, Twinkle shared the enchanting experience: “Moving our feet and massaging our souls:) Omahe, the local group that we danced with, used marvelous instruments made of feathers, skin, and sisal. We performed our own version of a traditional dance called Ritunga. Who do you think danced better, Mr K or I? When was the last time you danced your heart out?” The playful challenge to her followers sparked a flurry of responses, with fans admiring the couple’s dance skills.

One user wrote, “Twinkle for the win!! Mr K thinks he is on another set.” Another one commented, “Both Khiladis for a reason.” Additionally, some fans remarked that Akshay’s dance moves reminded them of his performance in a song with Salman Khan from ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’.

Akshay Kumar’s fans were elated to see their beloved star enjoying a much-needed break. This comes after a challenging phase in Akshay’s career, where his recent films, including ‘Sarfira,’ have not performed well at the box office.

For years, Akshay Kumar dominated the box office with a series of consecutive hits. However, he is currently experiencing a rough patch, with several of his recent films underperforming.

In a recent interview with Forbes India, he shared his thoughts on his recent streak of flops and the lessons he’s learned from failure. “Behind every film there is a lot of blood, sweat, and passion that goes in. It is heart-breaking to see any film fail. But you have to learn to see the silver lining. Every failure teaches you the value of success and increases the hunger for it even further. Luckily, I learnt to deal with it earlier on in my career. Of course, it hurts and impacts you, but that won’t change the fate of the film. It’s not something which is in your control… what is in your control is to work harder, make amends, and give it your all to your next film. That’s how I channel my energy and try to move on to the next, focusing my energy where it matters the most.”
