Karan Johar Drops The Tribe Trailer, Alanna Panday Is Introduced As 'The Boss Babe'

The much-awaited reality series, The Tribe is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 4. Days after announcing the show with content creators Alanna Panday, Alaviaa Jaaferi, Srushti Porey, Aryaana Gandhi and Alfia Jafry, Karan Johar has finally dropped the trailer of the series. Giving a glimpse of all the drama that’s in store, the trailer not only introduces Ananya Panday’s cousin, Alanna but also draws attention to the other Indian influencers.

“India – Los Angeles! Here’s your front row ticket into the GLAMOROUS world of the Tribe! #TheTribeOnPrime, New Series, Oct 4 only on @primevideoin,” the filmmaker wrote on Instagram.

According to its description on YouTube, “The Tribe is a reality series about 5 young Indian influencers who want to make it big in Los Angeles – the global capital of entertainment. Funding & fueling this audacious vision is a young Indian entrepreneur, Hardik Zaveri who knows no limits – to his vision and how much he is willing to spend on it. Are they onto something bigger than themselves, or are they doomed to crash and burn?”

In the trailer, Alanna Panday is introduced as The Boss Babe, whereas Alaviaa Jaaferi as The Fiery Fashionista, Srushti Porey as The Hot, Hot Mess, Aryaana Gandhi as Miss Pitch Perfect, and Alfia Jafry as The Drama Queen. Moreover, Hardik Zaveri will feature as The Mastermind.

The girls will step out of their comfort zone as they pursue their social media stardom dream in Los Angeles. Additionally, they will also face their own share of arguments and fights as the drama escalates. In the trailer, one can also see glimpses of Jaaved Jaaferi adding to the fun quotient in the show. He pokes fun at the influencer business in India saying that everyone has chosen this profession these days.

Fans shared excitement in the comment section, with many thrilled to witness another Panday sister on the screen. “That last line of jaaved jaafery. Too good,” one wrote, while another commented, “So it’s like the fabulous lives of Bollywood wives, a new version on another platform.”
