Taking place in Abu Dhabi, the night was filled with entertainment, including Shah Rukh grooving to viral hits like “Oo Antava” and “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.”
In one of the videos that went viral, Shah Rukh Khan hilariously took on Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s role from the hit song “Oo Antava” from Pushpa: The Rise. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal took on Allu Arjun’s iconic moves, and the two recreated the famous hookstep, leaving the audience in splits. Shah Rukh even tugged on Vicky’s arm and leg, nailing the playful performance and channeling his inner Samantha.
That wasn’t all! Another viral clip from the evening showed SRK teaching Vicky and Karan Johar the signature steps from “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” The camaraderie between the trio was a hit with fans, and the video quickly racked up likes and shares across social media.
Shah Rukh’s infectious charm isn’t limited to the stage. Just days before the IIFA 2024 ceremony, he was spotted at Mumbai airport, where he was mobbed by fans eager to catch a glimpse of the star as he headed to Abu Dhabi. Accompanied by his bodyguard and manager, Pooja Dadlani, SRK graciously acknowledged his fans despite the overwhelming crowd, showcasing the warmth he’s known for.
The IIFA 2024 edition kicked off on September 27 and will conclude on September 29. The gala also includes a special performance night featuring artists like Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is gearing up for his next film King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which will also mark his first on-screen collaboration with daughter Suhana Khan.
