Many of her fans or followers might not know that Hum Aapke Hain Koun…! fame Renuka Sahane has played a crucial role in mending Prarthana Behere’s acting career.
According to reports, Prarthana did not have any background in the film industry. Earlier, she worked as a reporter for a news channel. At that time, she once met actress Renuka Sahane; the actress herself asked Prarthana if she would like to work as an assistant in one of her films. Out of excitement and joy, Prarthana immediately agreed to the proposal and said yes to it. Following the same, she worked as an assistant director for the film Rita.
In the 2009 released Marathi film, Rita, Prarthana also appeared for a small span. She played the role of Anuradha Salvi in the film. After her performance in the film, the show’s director – Renuka Sahane herself – had sent Prarthana Behere for an audition for the television serial Pavitra Rishta. She got selected for the audition and her acting journey started from there.
