Fans are Reminded of Hitman's Agent 47 as Tiger Shroff Shares New Heropanti 2 Poster

On Tuesday, Tiger Shroff revealed a new look of his upcoming movie Heropanti 2 along with its release date. However, a few fans of hit video game Hitman games and films were reminded of Agent 47 as they saw Tiger’s latest post.Sharing the new look of the poster, Tiger described the movie as his “first love” and promised his fans with action and thrill like never before. He further urged his fans to celebrate his upcoming movie together on December 3, 2021 in cinemas. The new look was revealed by Tiger on his 31st birthday on Tuesday. The post has garnered over 1.3 million likes since it was shared.

Actor Varun Dhawan commented on Tiger’s post and wrote, “Happy bday Tiger, fantastic poster.” Tiger’s rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani also commented on the post and described the poster as “Insane”.

Amidst all the comments that praised Tiger’s post, there were a few who did point out the striking similarity it bore to Agent 47’s look from the Hitman video game. One of the users commented, “Hitman? Why?” While another user wondered, “Indian Hitman.”

“Hitman type lag rha (looks like Hitman),” read another comment. Another user wrote, “Hitman 2 (Silent Asasination) (sic).”

Hitman is a stealth video game developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. The story of the video game follows a single-player known as Agent 47, who is a genetically-engineered assassin hunting down the mysteriousShadow Client and his allies, who are trying to destroy Providence, a secretive organization controlling the world’s affairs. Tiger’s black suit with white shirt and red tie bear a striking resemblance to Agent 47’s look.

Tiger and Kriti Sanon made their debut in Bollywood with Heropanti in 2014. However, Heropanti 2 is not a continuation of the first movie since it will be aremake of Telugu movie Parugu. Heropanti 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan, written by Rajat Arora and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
