Now that they are officially man and wife, more photos from Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s palatial wedding in Jodhpur are surfacing on the web.
The couple got married according to both Christian and Hindu ceremonies on December 1-2 at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace in the presence of 225 people, including family, friends and guests.
For the Western wedding, Priyanka wore a stunning hand-beaded and embroidered white Ralph Lauren gown with a 75-feet long tulle veil. Her bridal bouquet of hyacinths and tuberoses was designed by Jenya Flowers (NYC), which also looked after the floral arrangements for the entire wedding celebration.
Talking about it, Priyanka told People, "It was all tears. All tears. I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his (Nick’s) face, it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life."
Meanwhile, Nick wore a custom Ralph Lauren suit. For him, "emotions were running high during the ceremonies", especially during the Western wedding. "You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional," he said.
For the Hindu ceremony on Sunday, Priyanka and Nick both wore Sabyasachi. She chose a deep red lehenga, choli and dupatta, and completed her bridal look with chooda, kaleere and garland. Nick, meanwhile, looked every bit the desi dulha in a soft beige sherwani and turban.
