Looks like Arjun Kapoor once had a crush on Anushka Sharma. The actor had confessed ‘marrying’ her during the rapid fire round in Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan. Moreover, even Varun Dhawan affirmed who was present with him at the couch. A throwback video from that recently went viral.

Karan Johar asked Arjun, who would he ‘Kill, Marry and Hook Up’, among Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif. Arjun then said, he’d ‘marry Anushka’. Varun then added, ‘you always wanted to.’
Earlier, during the promotions of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir Kapoor in fact teased Anushka Sharma that she friend zoned a ‘Kapoor’. Ranbir shared, “Mujhe pata hai, jo actually dosti dosti mein, unhe, inse pyaar ho gaya hai. Aur inhone bola ki, aisa nahi hai, mai bas dost hi hoon. Yeh actually friend-zoning mein champion hai. Mai Sirf yeh bolunga, unka surname bhi kapoor hai.”
Anushka Sharma however got married to Virat Kohli back in 2017. The duo keeps painting the town red with their adorable display of affection for each other. They welcomed a baby girl named Vamika back in 11 January 2021, while their son Akaay came into this world on 15 February 2023.
Earlier this month, Anushka Sharma made her first public appearance since welcoming her son, Akaay, with Virat Kohli. RCB star Faf du Plessis shared a photo of Anushka celebrating her birthday with him and Virat Kohli. Besides, Anushka turned 36 on May 1 and hosted a small gathering in Bengaluru.
Anushka and Virat announced the arrival of their second child in February this year. Back then, they issued a statement which read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in Chakda Xpress. It is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks her comeback to film after almost 4 years. She was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix soon.
