Akshay Kumar Shares Post On 'Chupaya Hua Khanjar' After Sarfira's Disappointing Box Office Run
Akshay Kumar's latest post has left his fans concerned and they urged him to make a strong comeback.

Akshay Kumar’s Instagram post has caught everyone’s attention after his latest film, Sarfira’s underwhelming performance at the box office. The film has been in theatres for almost 10 days now and has not been declared a hit yet. Akshay Kumar has jetted off on a holiday and amid this, he recently shared a shayari which has left his fans concerned.

Akshay captioned the post, “On a holiday and in the mood to read some shayari. Came across this gem by Bashir Badr sahab. Kya khoob likha hai!” The post shared by Akshay featured the famous ‘Aankhon Mein Raha Dil Mein Utar’ ghazal by poet Bashir Badr sahab. Check out Akshay’s post here:

Akshay’s post left his fans concerned, who asked him to make a strong comeback after his holiday. One person wrote, “Sir plz don’t lose hope jitne muh utni bate hoti hai aap sab ko chodo sir you can do it mujhe bhorsa hai aap superstar ho the aur rahoge.” Another added, “He will comeback. He will bounce back. He had done this before❤. He will do it again❤.”

One fan of the actor wrote, “Take care of yourself paaji and can’t wait for khel khel mein ❤️.” Another added, “I hope he takes a sabbatical and comes back strong.” One comment read, “We love you and will continue to be by your side. Enjoy your well-deserved Holiday!”

Before Sarfira, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also did not perform well at the box office. It was reported that Pooja Entertainment, the production house behind the film, incurred heavy losses post-release and several junior artists and crew did not receive their payment. However, fans are hopeful that upcoming projects like Khel Khel Main, Welcome To The Jungle and Hera Pheri 3 will work in the actor’s favour.

Meanwhile, as for Sarfira, the film tells the inspiring story of G.R. Gopinath, the visionary who made flying affordable for the common man in India. The film is directed by the acclaimed Sudha Kongara and is the official adaptation of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which won five National Awards. Written by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues by Pooja Tolani, and a G.V. Prakash Kumar musical, Sarfira is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), South superstars Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment).
