Actress Deepti Sadhwani of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame stirred the headlines with her dress at the opening ceremony of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The 33-year-old actress walked the red carpet with the longest trail of a gown to her credit.
Deepti Sadhwani wore an off-shoulder blingy dress and accentuated it with a furry trail that intrigued fashion lovers across the globe. She has been actively sharing pictures from the event. Sharing the first set of pictures on Instagram, Deepti wrote in the caption, “Dreams do come true, and so did mine…As a child always dreamed about it and finally at the opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival at the French Riviera." Deepti attached the song Cannes by the singer Theo Degler to her pictures.
Followers showered the post with compliments and commented heart emoticons, signifying their love for Deepti.
The TMKOC actress added some more pictures from her photoshoot at the Cannes Film Festival.

Deepti had initially started her career in the finance stream and was an investment banker. The 33-year-old actress, however, later found her calling in acting and shifted her career choices. Besides the comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, she also made her hosting stint in the comedy reality show Hasya Samrat. In addition to these shows, Deepti has also made acting stints in the songs Haryana Roadways and Toot Jaayein. She got to work alongside singers like Badshah & Fazilpuria and Nishawn Bhullar in the music video of these tracks.
In an interview with The New Indian Express, Deepti earlier talked more about her experiences of acting alongside Badshah and Fazilpuria. She said, “Haryana Roadways song is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. That jodi has given me many hit songs and I share the screen space with them. They share a cool bond and set the screen on fire. Both have different yet similar styles; one is from the Punjab, the other from Haryana. Both are thorough professionals and also very good human beings. They made me very comfortable on the sets."
