For this special occasion, we’ve gone beyond the deliciously minty Classic Mojito, and further explored some exciting variations that incorporate everything from fruity flavors to exotic herbs, all blended together with the smooth taste of rum. Here are the top four Mojito recipes guaranteed to invigorate your taste buds this Mojito Day:

Classic Mojito

The timeless classic Mojito is an age-old recipe of mint, lime, sugar, and rum – a blend that tastes like a cool breeze in a glass. Its universally beloved flavors are always welcome, whether you’re having a lazy morning lounging on a beach vacation, or a pumped-up evening out partying with friends. No matter the occasion, the over-500-year-old Mojito has yet to get old in our book.

Ingredients:

50 ml White Rum

25 ml lime juice

12 mint leaves

2 tsp extra fine sugar

25 ml soda water

1 sprig of fresh mint

Steps:

1. Squeeze the lime wedges in a glass, gently press together the lime and the sugar

2. Press the mint into the glass with a bar spoon to release the oil

3. Next half-fill the glass with crushed ice and add the white rum & churn

4. Top with crushed ice and soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Jamun Mojito

Ingredients:

50 ml BACARDÍ CARTA BLANCA

25 ml jamun fruit syrup

20 ml lime juice

4 to 5 mint leaves

Glassware: Highball glass

Garnish: Mint sprig

Steps:

1. Bruise the basil leaves by clapping them between your palms, rub them on the rim of the glass, and drop them in the highball glass

2. Pour jamun fruit syrup, lime juice, and white rum in a glass with crushed ice

3. Garnish with mint sprig and some more ice

50 ml BACARDÍ CARTA BLANCA

3 to 4 chunks of watermelon

5 to 6 mint leaves

20 ml fresh Lime Juice

15 ml sugar syrup

Glassware: Old-fashioned glass

Garnish: Mint leaves sprig & watermelon wedge

Steps:

1. Take watermelon, sugar, and lime and muddle gently in an old-fashioned glass.

2. Bruise the mint leaves by clapping them between your palms, rub them on the rim of the glass and drop them in.

3. Next, fill the glass with crushed ice, add BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum & stir.

4. Top with crushed ice, a splash of club soda and garnish with a mint leaves sprig and watermelon wedge

Ingredients:

50 ml rum

15 ml lime juice

10 ml sugar syrup

2 tsp. pomegranate

8 mint leaves

Soda water

Mint sprig to garnish

Handful of pomegranate seeds

Steps:

1. Add pomegranate seeds to the glass and gently muddle.

2. Place mint in a glass and gently tap with a muddler.

3. Add BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum, lime juice & sugar syrup.

4. Fill the glass with crushed ice, and a splash of soda. Mix well, garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
