Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial Padmaavat is all set to hit the silver screens on January 25, months after Karni Sena members stalled the film's release alleging that the portrayal of Rajputs in the film, and also that of Rani Padmavati is offensive. And yesterday, after battling all odds, the Padmaavat team finally got to be together for a special screening, before the film could be officially released in theaters across the nation.
Everyone from Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself to Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput and Shahid's step-brother Ishaan Khattar, step-mom Neelima Khattar and friends from the industry were all present for the screening.
However, what was interesting to see at the special screening was that both the couples Deepika-Ranveer and Shahid-Mira were twinning in white and black outfits respectively.
While Deepika looked ethereal as she was snapped wearing a white and silver Anamika Khanna floor length semi-sheer Anarkali which she teamed with high-waisted palazzos and matching dupatta, Ranveer looked dashing sporting an ethnic look in a white chikankari kurta and pyjama, courtesy Herringbone and Sui.
A neat low bun, statement earrings and minimal makeup rounded off Deepika's look.
In fact, Deepika and Ranveer, who haven't officially come out in public about their relationship, didn't shy away from public display of affection and walked hand-in-hand at the screening. The two seemed extremely comfortable and relaxed, smiling while shutterbugs clicked endless pictures of them together.

Shahid and Mira too were twinning in black as they showed up for the screening. While Mira was dressed in a sheer black top that featured 3D flowers and thread work teamed with black velvet pants, Shahid looked chic and comfortable in a white tee which he teamed with a black jacket and black distressed denims.
Mira rounded off her look with nude makeup, a neat ponytail, a dash of earthy brown on her lips, diamond earring and a matching black clutch.
The two looked relaxed and excited at the same time for the screening. Take a look.
Both Deepika-Ranveer and Shahid-Mira, who made an appearance in color coordinated outfits, are giving major couple and fashion goals through their recent outing.
