Bangalore: Taking a cue from the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress on Saturday announced that it was in favour of giving a fresh face to politics in India.
"Today meeting was specifically on youth and the one thing that emerged was that the youth in the country want more opportunities in the political system," said Tewari while addressing media persons on the meeting chaired by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who was also present at the press conference, added that Rahul wants to involve youth in policy-making decisions unlike earlier occasions when senior leaders were framing them. The Congress leaders added that Rahul wants to
ensure youth's involvement in the framing of national policies.
The youth convention was attended by Union Ministers including Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tewari and Sachin Pilot.
