THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘Yachai Rampana’ and ‘Kilimo Takas’ are not Greek or Latin, but Spanish and Lithuanian. Yachai Rampana, a Spanish term meaning ‘moving knowledge’, is what Beatriz Quispe from Peru has named her dream project that she worked out at the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurship (IISE). The Yachai Rampana project introduces an Edubus to reach the rural areas of Peru with accessibility devices and training on daily living skills for the visually challenged people. Once Beatriz graduates from the IISE, this is the project that she will be establishing in her home country. So is the case with Vygandas Raukstas from Lithuania, who will be working on her dream project Kilimo Takas, which envisages a centre for the orphaned children in Lithuania. This centre aims at the holistic development based on an innovative curriculum.Beatriz, Vygandas and 13 others, who launched fifteen innovative social projects, will graduate from the IISE at Vellayani on Saturday.
