Will try for inclusion of PM in Lokpal: BJP

BANGALORE: BJP will fight the Lokpal issue in the Parliament and try to ensure the inclusion of civil society’s views, including its demand for bringing the Prime Minister under the ambit of Lokpal.Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, BJP National Spokesman Nirmala Seetharaman said that a presentation on both versions of the Lokpal Bill would be made before BJP representatives on July 1 by civil society group in an attempt to gather support for their draft.“Advani has invited Anna Hazare and his team to make a presentation of the Jan Lokpal Bill. After going through both the versions, We will decide our next course of action,” she added.Nirmala also said India engaging Pakistan in talks over Kashmir would be a futile exercise unless it stops supporting terrorist activities.
