Forest Minister K B Ganesh Kumar will inaugurate the wildlife week celebrations on October 2 at Konni in Pathanamthitta. The Forest and Wildlife Department would be organising the week-long celebrations. Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash, principal chief conservator and chief wildlife warden V Gopinathan, Pathanamthitta district panchayat president Babu George and Kollam additional chief forest conservator T J Teggi are among those who will be present.
The Minister would also inaugurate the Eco Tourism Centre, small scale centre for value added forest products and a medicinal garden in Konni.
