In today’s digital times, people have the choice to be whatever they want and however, they want, especially when they have the determination. This young talented man from Telangana who became a trending YouTube star is a great example of that.
The young man is named Saikumar, who is a resident of Godavarikhani, in the district of Peddapalli, Telangana. Currently, he is employed as a contractor at the Jaipur power plant, in Mancherial district. According to him, he has been writing songs since he was a child and loves to spend time doing so.
So, to realise his dream of becoming a musician, he worked hard at his job, collecting and then investing money to start a YouTube channel called GDK Tunes. So, utilising his own money he made a song, featured in the music video, and released it on social media. The single proved to be a huge hit on Youtube garnering more than 16 lakh views, making Saikumar a musical sensation overnight. He even earned some money through the release. However, after this single, he did not release nor appear in another single.
When the Local18 team asked Saikumar about his decision, he said that his first release got a tremendous response, something he did not expect. But to work on a song and its release can be very expensive, which he cannot afford, Saikumar revealed further. He added, “If anyone who invests, I will give them good songs that I have written.”
Speaking further, he said that many people release songs but they are unable to find success. So, when he released his work, he did not have much expectations for its popularity. But that one song became so popular that he started earning through it from YouTube. Saikumar added that he has more songs with the potential to become bigger hits.
