Chennai: The Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu government to preserve the body of one of the students found dead in a private medical college in Villupuram.

The HC has ordered that Monisha's body be preserved till the next hearing on Wednesday. The student's family had approached the HC, seeking a fresh post mortem.

They also demanded that the case be transferred to the CB-CID. CNN-IBN had accessed a report of the post mortem report conducted on the three students which has ruled out suicide.

The post mortem report says the girls died due to drowning and there was no visible external injury on their bodies. The girls were found dead on Saturday. An alleged suicide note accused the college management of fleecing them and forcing them to do menial work instead of study.

Later on Monday, MGR Medical vice chancellor said that the SVS Yoga Medical College had no affiliation.

Earlier on Monday, parents of one of the children said their daughters were murdered. They filed a writ petition which will be heard by the Madras High Court.

CNN-IBN exclusively accessed their suicide note where the girls blamed the college of fleecing money from them in the form of fees. The note says that they were forced to do menial jobs at college and not allowed to study.

The note also said that despite repeated complaints no action was taken against college authorities. The parents of the students have alleged murder calling for an independent probe.

Local officials sealed the college after the incident. The son of a college administrator, a lecturer and two hostel wardens have been detained.

The bodies of the three were found in a well near the college. The girls were doing naturopathy courses.
