Vendors make hay at venue

BANGALORE: Oblivious of the movement and the impact on the country, vendors at Freedom Park continued to make brisk business, with more supporters joining Anna, their profit has doubled.Students continued to shout slogans unabated throughout the day, munching some eatables. According to the volunteers, 30,000 people have signed the register in support of Jan Lokpal Bill. Meanwhile, 19 supporters have taken oath to hold indefinite hunger fast.MP Ananth Kumar supports strong LokpalExtending his support for the anti-corruption movement, MP Ananth Kumar, said that he supports a strong and independent Lokpal Bill. Speaking to the press after meeting volunteers from India Against Corruption, he criticized the present bill introduced by the Congress led UPA.He also said that the  BJP believes that the Prime Minister must come under the purview of the Lokpal bill. He added that he would support the movement in favor of a strong Lokpal Bill.
