US will pursue deal even with a minority Govt: Boucher

New Delhi: The US will pursue the Ino-US Nuclear Deal even with a minority government, says US Assistant Secretary for South Asia, Richard Boucher.

He said the US is excited by the prospect of what happens in the confidence vote, but that remained an internal matter for India to resolve.

For America's part he said: "We deal with the legally constituted Government of India. Minority governments are common around the world and you can't say, 'Oh, well, we are going to stop dealing with you till the next election or until some new coalition or something'. That's not for us to say."
