George Bush has urged all the parties to make difficult compromises.
New Delhi: US President George W Bush is leading a global effort to broker peace between Israel and Palestine.
Representatives of more than 40 countries, including India, are attending the West-Asia Peace Conference.
On Monday, ahead of talks, Bush hosted a dinner for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
On the agenda for the talks are the matters of a separate Palestinian homeland and, perhaps, even the disputed Golan Heights and other pan-Arab causes, at the insistence of Syria and Saudi Arabia.

Olmert has expressed his optimism ahead of the talks.
