Pilibhit: In a yet another horrific case in Uttar Pradesh, a television journalist alleged that he was attacked by a group in Pilibhit who tied him up and dragged him behind their bikes till he lost consciousness.
Journalist Haidar Khan claimed that he was attacked by a man whom he had reported on for alleged land grabbing.
Khan said, "I was attacked for reporting on illegal land deals. They hit me on the head with a gun, dragged me behind a bike."
Police have registered an FIR in the case.
The incident came just days after journalist Jagendra Singh was murdered allegedly on the orders of Samajwadi Party Minister Ram Murti Verma for Facebook posts.
