A UK-based NRI has donated 250,000 pounds to the London South Bank University in support of its graduate entrepreneurship programme.

London: A UK-based NRI has donated 250,000 pounds to the London South Bank University in support of its graduate entrepreneurship programme.

The donation by Rami Ranger, Chairman and founder of Sun Mark Ltd and Sea, Air and Land Forwarding Ltd will be used to set up a fund for Enterprise Excellence in Ranger's name to support student entrepreneurship activities at the University.

Dr Rami Ranger Master of Business Economics Centre for Graduate Entrepreneurship which will provide a hub and workspace for students and graduates on enterprise programme was opened last Friday by Theresa Villiers, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, a spokesperson of the University has said.

Ranger donated 250,000 pounds to the University in support of its graduate entrepreneurship programme, an official has said.

"I believe in a strong educational foundation, and have been impressed by London South Bank University which plays a great part in raising the aspirations of its students," he said.
