Two robbed of cars, mobile phones

BANGALORE: In separate incidents, two persons were robbed of their cars and other valuables in Amruthahalli police station limits on Friday night.
Shashikumar, a cab driver and a resident of Vrishabhavathinagar in Kamakshipalya, was robbed by three men, who made away with his Tata Indica car and a mobile phone, together worth Rs 1.5 lakh. According to the police, Shashikumar had dropped passengers at White Field and was on his way back home. When he came near Jakkur graveyard, three men waylaid his car. They forcibly entered the car and threatened Shashikumar with a knife and snatched his mobile phone. Later they pushed him out of the car and sped away with it.
