Tribals held for hunting rabbits

NAMAKKAL: The forest department personnel held three tribals for hunting down wild rabbits here on Sunday. According to sources, on getting a tip-off the forest personnel apprehended Kuppa,Gopi,and Selvaraj, near a hotel here on Sunday when they tried to sell wild rabbits.Some of the rabbits which were under their possession were seized immediately. It came to light during interrogations that the trio hunted the rabbits for selling them to hotels in the town, the sources told.They were later handed over to the local police.
