RSS leader and convener of Muslim Rastriya Manch, Indresh Kumar on Saturday suggested the Muslims in Rajasthan to transform and modernise 10 to 20 Madrasas which could be presented as a model before the government.
Kumar said that Madrasas should be the centre of such education which teaches humanity and spreads the message of harmony and not fanaticism.
"I have asked them (Muslims) to transform 10 to 20 Madrasas on such line that they could be presented as model madrasas before the government," Kumar told PTI during his visit to the city.
"We want people to have religious book in one hand and laptop in the other," Kumar added.
He said that with the formation of new government led by Narendra Modi, the country would see good days and secularism which brings all (communities) together.
"There were two types of secularism, one which divides and the other which associates all.
"In these elections people have rejected the first type of secularism and voted for the second secularism which will not divide but bring people and communities close," he said.
Kumar claimed that around 10 per cent of Muslim votes across the country were shifted to BJP which shows that they have expressed faith in the leadership of Narendra Modi.
He also rejected the charge that there was any resentment for not including more Muslim faces in the cabinet except Najma Heptulla.
