Three Indian rowers qualify for Olympics
Swarn Singh Virk, Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar won their individual events at the Asian Olympic qualifiers.

Chung Ju, (Korea): India's Swarn Singh Virk along with Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar won their individual events at the Asian Olympic qualifiers and booked their berths for the London Olympics here on Sunday.

In the finals of the FISA Olympic Continental Qualification Regatta for Asia, Virk (men's single sculls) and Manjeet Singh and Sandeep Kumar in the lightweight men's double sculls staved off very stiff challenges to qualify.

This is the fourth time in a row that Indian rowers will be participating in the Olympics as Manjeet had also qualified for the 2008 Beijing Games.
