This is the first time that Terence Lewis has worked in a Kannada film and the choreographer is quite happy with the experience. Terence is so impressed by the team that he said that whenever he plans to make a film he would hire South Indian technicians. Terence, who hails from Mangalore, says that he does intend to direct a film soon but immediately clarifies that it would not revolve around dance. Instead, the film will be based on father-son relationship.

He also added that the film would be a heart touching but at the same time it would be simple. Terence believes that entertainment and a good script is the need of the hour and films should provide both. He also claims that the script of 'Mamu Tea Angadi' is very close to the youth and would strike the right chord with them.

One of Terence's student Varun is playing the lead role in the film and the choreographer happily accepted to do a cameo. At the same time, Terence is happy with happy with Varun and says that he always knew about his potential.
