Shriya Saran is all set to play the lead in 'Pavithra'. Janardhana Maharshi, who was won the National award for his 'Devasthanam' will direct the film. The film is co-produced by K Sadhak Kumar and G.Maheswara Reddy. Recently the audio of the film was released in Vizag.
An elated Shriya says, "I am very happy to attend the audio function at Vizag. I am very happy at being a part of this film . Janardhana Maharshi has made 'Pavithra' very beautifully, my role is one of the best characters I have done in my career".
"Srilekha has given wonderful music. The story and screenplay of this movie are very good. Definitely this will become a turning point in my career. I will meet the Vizag fans again at the 100 days function", she added.
The director of the film was excited at the audio function he spoke of the film, "I consider K Viswanath sir and K Balachander sir as my mentors. K.Balachander touches all kinds of stories and they turn out to be excellent.
I often think of making a variety of films that will be a challenge for me as a writer and a director.
Maheswara Reddy said, " We are planning to release the movie in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam at one time. We are also planning 'Parliament to Pavithra' as a sequel to this film".
The producers say,"The post production work of the movie is going on now. We are satisfied at making a good movie. The director is making the movie excellently".
Brahmanandham, AVS, Yandamoori Veerendranath, Sai Kumar, Ravi Babu, Roja, Thelangana Shakunthala, Bharani, Koushik will also play key roles in the film.
The music is composed by MM Srilekha, the camera is done by Suresh Kumar, K.Sadhak Kumar and G Maheswara Reddy have co-produced the film while the story- screenplay- dialogues and direction is done by Janardhana Maharshi.
