Chennai: A die-hard fan of Akshay Kumar, Tamil actor Dileepan flew to Mumbai to meet the Bollywood star ahead of the release of his debut film, crime-thriller 'Vathikuchi'.
"Dileepan is a big fan of Akshay Kumar, especially his stunts. He flew to Mumbai on March 15 to meet Akshay and even showed him a few clips and trailer of his film 'Vathikuchi'," Dileepan's manager told IANS.
Akshay is currently busy filming Hindi remake of 'Thuppakki', which is being directed by Dileepan's brother, well-known filmmaker AR Murugadoss.
'Vathikuchi' is about crimes committed in the city in a different angle. It also features Anjali, Saranya Ponvannan, Sampath Raj, Jayaprakash, Raja and Rajshree.
It has been jointly produced by Murugadoss Productions and Fox Star Studios.
