CHENNAI: A corporate prayer was conducted by the Jesus Calls ministry specially for students appearing for their public exams. The programme began at 2pm on February 5 at the Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School, Chetpet. The programme began with a prayer by Rev. Fr. Stanley Sebastian, the Superintendent of the Catholic Schools in Chennai. Students who attained State and university ranks last year shared their experiences and success stories. Several students from Karunya University, Coimbatore shared their experiences as to how they were placed in prestigious companies because of prayers. Paul Dhinakaran, Founder, Jesus Calls, Chancellor of Karunya University, motivated the students saying that if they wrote their exams with faith in the Almighty, they could surely succeed. Then he prayed sincerely for the thousands of students who had gathered there.Earlier, G J Manohar, the Principal of MCC Higher Secondary School welcomed the gathering. Paul Dhinakaran, Evangeline Paul and Stella Dhinakaran prayed individually for all the students.
